What We Liked About It: If it’s comparable to Station Eleven, we’re obsessed. It’s supposed to be a propulsive read and explores the strengths and limits of human ability in the face of hardship, and we couldn’t be more ready to dive into this book!

The Kitchen Front by Jennifer Ryan

From the bestselling author of The Chilbury Ladies' Choir comes an unforgettable novel of a BBC-sponsored wartime cooking competition and the four women who enter for a chance to better their lives.

What We Liked About It: Since quarantine started, baking shows have been our new obsession, so when we saw there was a historic cooking competition, we had to grab this one.

Firekeeper’s Daughter by Angeline Boulley

In Firekeeper's Daughter, debut author Angeline Boulley crafts a groundbreaking YA thriller about a Native teen who must root out the corruption in her community, for readers of Angie Thomas and Tommy Orange.

What We Liked About It: Just re-read that synopsis one more time—it explains it all. And this cover is gorgeous—we can’t stop staring at it!
